Colombia - Crime - Ingrid Betancourt Kidnapping Scene
On the road to Florencia, presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt was kidnapped two days ago with her campaign advisor Clara Rojas by members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army (FARC). The two women were on their way to San Vicente del Caguan by car with a photographer and a cameraman. Lying on the ground is a message, "International press, Ingrid Betancourt," which was removed from the floor of the car by the FARC during the kidnapping. The bus blocking the road is full of explosives. Graffiti spells out, "Watch out, landmine, Viva FARC!" | Location: San Vincente del Caguan, Caqueta, Colombia.
